Professional driving skills are becoming more crucial in a world which places a lot of importance on transportation for both economic activities as well as for the movement of goods and people. After the course, the participant must visit the Road Traffic Safety Directorate to apply for a new licence. The deadline for renewing the licence is six months from the date of the completion of the course. This is to ensure that the driver has the required expertise and knowledge required to operate an automobile that is heavy. Additionally the driver should be able to read speed limit and kilometer signs posted on the road.

Options for training

The code 95 on a driver's license signifies that you have completed the mandatory training to drive buses or trucks professionally. This is a condition you must meet every five years to renew your permit. The 35-hour course can be completed at a driving school or at home via e-learning. In 2011, a new style of licence for trucks and buses was introduced. This is a laminated driving licence card that looks similar to the European driving licence card. It contains the driver's photo and name (in Latin or Cyrillic) along with the date and location of issue, the categories permitted and the signature.
