Costs
Professional driving skills are becoming more crucial in a world which places a lot of importance on transportation for both economic activities as well as for the movement of goods and people. However, getting this ability is not cheap. There are numerous costs to think about, including the cost of training and exam. In the Netherlands getting Code 95 may cost as nearly 3000 euros. Fortunately, the expenses associated with acquiring this certificate are much lower in Poland and can be as low as 1500 to 2000 PLN.
In Europe, truck drivers must possess a Code 95 Certificate to drive trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tonnes. The certificate is valid for five years and must be added to the driver's license category C or C+E. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licences, which allows the driver to drive with lighter trailer combinations.
To receive a Code 95 certificate, you must pass a medical examination and take the psychotest. After completing the course you will be issued a plastic Code 95 certificate that can be added to your driving license. The cost of the course includes a medical exam, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.
The cost of the Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving courses. Moreover, it is important to remember that this course has to be held at an accredited driving school recognized by the CBR. The CBR has strict protocols that trainers must adhere to. For example when the student is absent from a class, the trainer must report it to the CBR immediately.
After the course, the participant must visit the Road Traffic Safety Directorate to apply for a new licence. The deadline for renewing the licence is six months from the date of the completion of the course. This is to ensure that the driver has the required expertise and knowledge required to operate an automobile that is heavy. Additionally the driver should be able to read speed limit and kilometer signs posted on the road.
Options for training
The code 95 on a driver's license signifies that you have completed the mandatory training to drive buses or trucks professionally. This is a condition you must meet every five years to renew your permit. The 35-hour course can be completed at a driving school or at home via e-learning. It is possible to spread the training over a five-year time frame. Your employer could pay for the courses.

After passing the test you will be issued a plastic card. The card must be submitted to the unifying European certificate database. The institution where you attended will then submit the card to the database. The card will be processed in 14 days.
The cost of the long course is approximately 2,000 PLN, while the examination is 300 PLN. You'll have to pay an additional fee to the school for them to upload your certificate to the unification European database. After the card is created and you are able to pick it up from the school.
To be able to provide a course of training that issue Code 95, you must follow certain protocols as trainer. You must first submit a plan of training to the CBR. If you don't renew your license by the expiry date, you won't be able to drive professionally for more than 12 hours a week. You'll need to complete another training course if want to drive for more than 12 hours per week again.
Exams
You must pass both the theory and practical tests to earn the code 95 on your license. These exams can be taken separately, or in conjunction with the acquisition of a basic category licence at a driving academy. Upon successful completion of the exams, you will be given a certificate and code 95 card. The card is valid for five years and must be renewed prior to the expiration date.
Based on the training program and the type of training you choose, you can opt for short or long courses to prepare for the code 95 exam. The long course runs for four weeks long and culminates with a test administered by the government. In this test you will be asked to answer 30 questions about the topics covered in your classes.
You must complete a minimum of 35 hours of regular training every five years after passing the code 95 examination. It is possible to do this in the country in which you live or work. The instructor will conduct the regular training. The CBR offers an online tool to find the right instructor. You will receive a certification from both your instructor and CBR once you have completed the course. The CBR will inform the RDW that you have completed your training.

The largest driving licence in Europe is the C-license. In the Netherlands, the requirement is that you pass the initial qualification for professional drivers at the Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen, or CBR, in Dutch). Requirements
The purchase of a driver's licence with code 95 is a must for truck drivers who want to work in the Netherlands. The code on the driver's license indicates that they meet the (training) requirements for professional truck drivers (Certificate of Professional Competence, Verklaring van Vakbekwaamheid). Without it truck drivers aren't allowed to drive professionally for more than 12 hours a week.
To obtain a driving license with the code 95, you have to attend professional training courses. These courses are usually offered by driving schools. They also conduct the required tests. The first time you take an exam, you'll be required to pass a theory and practical test for the relevant category. If you pass, the driving school will issue a certificate. This certificate should be sent to the RDW along with your driving license.

The course for code95 consists of both theoretical and practical training. The theoretical training consists of classroom instruction and online learning. The online learning part is conducted through a specific website. This allows you to take classes anytime and from any location. The theoretical part comprises 35 academic lessons. In addition, you will be able to complete several online testing tasks and tests.
If you plan to transport hazardous goods, you will have to take a separate ADR driver training course (18-hours). This will give you a five year ADR driver's certificate. This is required for all professional drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous products.
In 2011, a new style of licence for trucks and buses was introduced. This is a laminated driving licence card that looks similar to the European driving licence card. It contains the driver's photo and name (in Latin or Cyrillic) along with the date and location of issue, the categories permitted and the signature. The older booklet-style and credit-card licences are no longer issued.
